Limited Jun Hug Prints Are Now Live!

Today my print shop finally opens with three featured artworks of mine! It ends in a couple days or until everything sells out. I’m so, so excited to do this launch, a thought of my art hanging on someone’s wall is a dream I’ve been dreaming since very long ago. :‘)

These illustrations are of my beloved cat characters - Star and Sunshine. Drawing always brings me a lot of comfort, but especially so if it's them. I started working on both parts of 'Summer Bells' after a hard day at uni, I decided then to buy myself some flowers - that's where the initial inspiration came from. :) First i worked with pencil on paper, I love doing lineart of my artworks this way, feels like I have more awareness of my brushstrokes than when I do it directly on computer (and maybe it also brings more closeness to my craft?). Then I scanned the drawings and colured them digitally to give a bit of my magic through mixing media. ‘Windowsill’ is one of my older works, and you're probably wondering why it's featured? Oh well, I just love it, it's simply one of my favorite ones. I love those calm and warm days when sunbathing is so enjoyable that everything else fades away and I can indulge in the sun, spend pleasant time with my loved ones - no words are needed.
